Back in the early ’70s, my brother (an Army doctor) was getting ready to go to Ranger training...and then on to Airborne training. He needed to get into shape by running at dawn. But because his work as an intern tired him out, he tended to shut off the alarm and sleep in. When he confided that he was afraid he’d not make it through Ranger training, I (a Navy pilot at the time), in order to help my brother, bought some supplies, made this motivational poster, and mailed it to him. (This was the origin of some of the Quotations above.) It worked; he put it on his wall, ran every morning, got into excellent shape, and distinguished himself in training. And now, years later, I hope TheSwordbearer.org will help you, my brothers and sisters in Christ, distinguish yourselves in both training (Bible study) and in combat (the proper Christian walk) so you can glorify God and help the church. Apply the quotes below to Bible study and the Christian walk. |
